Applicants must satisfy the eligibility criteria stipulated on the event website at the time of submission. This category is open to all eligible individuals. 1.2. All information submitted must be truthful, accurate, complete, and verifiable. Submission of false, misleading, or incomplete information will result in immediate disqualification without prior notice. 1.3. Submission of an application constitutes confirmation of participation in the event, subject to receipt of the required registration fee. 1.4. Applicants will receive their event-related documentation, including acceptance letters, within three to five (3-5) business days following registration. 2. Registration Fee and Refund Policy 2.1. Participation in the Forum Access Category necessitates payment of a non-refundable registration fee, as specified on the event website. This payment confirms the applicant’s registration and attendance. 2.2. Refunds, where applicable, shall be governed exclusively by the Refund Policy. Applicants must consult the policy on the event website for eligibility conditions and applicable timelines for refund requests. 2.3. Refunds will not be issued for modifications to the event, including but not limited to rescheduling, venue changes, or alterations to the event format. 2.4. In the event of a cancellation by the organizers, refunds will be processed in strict adherence to the provisions outlined in the Refund Policy. 3. Event Changes, Amendments, and Postponement 3.1. The organizing committee retains the sole discretion to amend, reschedule, or cancel the event in response to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, government directives, or travel restrictions. 3.2. Participants will be notified promptly of any such changes using the contact details provided in their application forms. 3.3. The organizing committee disclaims liability for any expenses incurred by participants, including but not limited to travel or accommodation costs, resulting from such changes. 4. Travel and Attendance Requirements 4.1. Forum Access participants bear sole responsibility for organizing their travel arrangements and covering all associated expenses, including transportation, accommodation, and subsistence. 4.2. Participants must independently secure any necessary travel documents, including visas or permits. While the organizing committee may issue invitation letters upon request to facilitate visa applications, it does not guarantee visa approval and is not obligated to intervene with consular authorities. 4.3. The invitation letter is intended solely to assist with visa applications and does not ensure the issuance of a visa. The organizers disclaim any liability for the outcome of participants’ visa applications. 4.4. Full attendance at all scheduled activities and sessions is mandatory. Failure to attend without prior notification may result in exclusion from future CGDL events. 5. Liability and Disclaimer 5.1. The organizers disclaim any liability for personal injury, property damage, loss, or theft sustained during the event. 5.2. Participants are strongly advised to procure comprehensive travel insurance covering unforeseen contingencies, including medical emergencies, travel delays, or lost belongings. 5.3. The organizing committee accepts no responsibility for legal, logistical, or personal issues encountered by participants during their involvement in the event. 6. Force Majeure 6.1. The organizers shall not be held liable for delays, modifications, or cancellations caused by events outside their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, labor disputes, or governmental actions. 7. Privacy and Data Protection 7.1. By submitting your application, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data for purposes related to event management and execution. 7.2. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties except as necessary for event-related services or communications, in compliance with applicable data protection laws. 8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction 8.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Canada. 8.2. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be exclusively adjudicated in the courts located in Canada. 9. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions 9.1. By submitting your application for the Forum Access Category, you affirm that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agreed to these Terms and Conditions. 9.2. You acknowledge and agree that the registration fee is non-refundable except as expressly provided in the Refund Policy, and that adherence to these Terms and all related event guidelines is a condition of participation.
