The first edition of the Youth Global Forum, held in Madrid, Spain in January 2026, welcomed delegates from across the world for an unforgettable experience of leadership development, international dialogue, and cultural exchange.
The overwhelming response from participants laid the foundation for an even more ambitious second edition. In 2027, the Forum arrives in Paris with expanded programming, new institutional engagements, and greater opportunities for young leaders to connect with international organizations and experts shaping global policy.

The Youth Global Forum combines expert-led learning with collaborative experiences designed to encourage meaningful participation.
Throughout the Forum, delegates can expect:
Gain fresh perspectives from experienced voices addressing today’s most important global challenges.
Take part in practical, engaging sessions designed to encourage learning, collaboration, and participation.
Explore real-world policy challenges through focused sessions led by experienced practitioners and experts.
Discover diverse perspectives, traditions, and experiences while connecting with an international community.
Share your ideas and perspectives while learning from the experiences and viewpoints of other participants.
A defining feature of the Youth Global Forum 2027 is the opportunity to take learning beyond the traditional conference environment and gain firsthand exposure to the institutions that influence international cooperation. As part of the Forum experience, delegates will participate in guided visits to UNESCO Headquarters and other international organizations in Paris, offering a closer look at how global institutions contribute to diplomacy, education, sustainable development, science, culture, and multilateral policymaking.
These institutional visits provide participants with a valuable opportunity to connect the ideas discussed during the Forum with their real-world applications. By experiencing these organizations directly, delegates can develop a deeper understanding of international cooperation, explore the work of global institutions, and gain practical insight into the processes that shape policies and initiatives at the international level.
